Monica Miller, RMT (Massage Therapist), DOMP (2nd Year Student Osteopathy) Monica graduated in 2003 from ICT Northumberland College with her Massage Therapy Diploma (Honours). Since then she has obtained further training in Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, and Deep Tissue Massage. Monica began working in St Margaret's Bay in 2004 and moved to the area in 2008. She is also an Osteopathic student with an expected graduation of 2025 and is excited about bringing new skills and techniques to the massage table. In 1997, she graduated with a BSc (Honours) in Psychology from Saint Mary's University where she also played varisty level basketball for 5 years. Since then, she has participated in various sporting events including half marathons, trail running, obstacle course/Spartan Races, endurance events (Hurricane Heat 12HR), the Big Swim (2019 and 2021), the Crossfit Open, and swims regularly as part of the Sackville Masters program. She also volunteers extensively with the Massage Therapists' Association of NS when she's not spending time with her dogs or chickens. Monica is passionate about helping people become more mobile and finding the source of aches, pains, and disability, not just treating symptoms.
Melissa DeCoste, RMT (Massage Therapist) Melissa graduated from the 2200 hour massage therapy program in 2016 at Eastern College with Honours. She enjoys working with major chronic issues, pregnancies, working with the fascia, and applying joint mobilization within the treatments. Melissa was always very active in the community where she grew up. Since graduating from Sir John A MacDonald High School (Honours) in 2011 she has been teaching young adults about wrestling which was inspired after her brother got her involved in the sport at 12 years old. Melissa knows the importance of proper stretching and incorporates into her treatment home care. Melissa is very passionate about massage and enjoys being able to help people.
